Investments for Commercialization (I4C)
Recently, Inventis Group Ltd.® and the United States Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) teamed to develop Investments for Commercialization (I4C), a nationwide pilot program to assist Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program companies to transfer and transition game changing technologies to commercial markets and the Department of Defense (DoD).
I4C provides an opportunity for the investor community to participate in Phase 3 commercialization of thoroughly vetted Phase 2 companies and technologies. We expect that state and local governments will also embrace this opportunity for investment thru grants, tax credits, economic development incentives and federal economic stimulus packages.
The I4C outreach includes SBIR companies located throughout the United States. Hence, I4C will not only result in the commercialization of high technologies and strong return on investment, but also the growth of high tech, high paying jobs, which will help jump start the U.S. economy.
